DiStasio's Ristorante, nestled at 590 Morro Bay Blvd, is a gem for Italian cuisine lovers seeking a heartwarming dining experience. Customers rave about the warm and inviting ambiance, emphasizing the delightful service that elevates the meal. One patron, 'K W,' praises not just the food but the exceptional service that even impressed their notoriously critical uncle.
The menu features crowd-pleasers like homemade spaghetti and meatballs, described by customer 'EMT Nikki Wilson' as delightfully light and comforting, alongside a flavorful sauce that evokes nostalgia for home-cooked meals. The unique butternut squash ravioli has also received rave reviews, highlighting its rich taste that can be savored as either an appetizer or a dessert.
Don’t miss the tiramisu, a standout dessert that many customers, including Ana Gonzalez, found to be the highlight of their visit. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a suggestion was made to enhance the dip accompanying the bread, which could potentially elevate the already wonderful dining experience. Overall, DiStasio's Ristorante offers generous portions, a warm atmosphere, and flavorful dishes, making it a must-visit for anyone in Morro Bay.

Food and atmosphere was great, but I wish I could give more than five stars for service....they need at least 20. Everyone was beyond friendly and completely blew us out of the water. Even my crabby uncle could find nothing to complain about which has NEVER happened in living memory. So if you are trying to decide on a place, definitely come here. Between the food and the people your heart and stomach will leave filled and happy!

We ordered delivery via door dash and even though the food was a little cold when it got to us it was very good! And probably excellent straight out of the kitchen. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo, garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, and lava cake! We would definitely eat here again!

Tonight I took myself out on a little date to DiStasio’s Ristorante. It is a Monday night and I was craving some Italian food. I used Google to make a reservation for one. It was a slow night upon my arrival but that was fine with me. The ambience was relaxed and homey. The owner even came out to check on his guests. I was immediately greeted at the door by the hostess who sat my at a small table in near a window. It took a little while for the server to come over, however, I wasn’t in a hurry. Since I had the time to look over the menu and the wine menu I knew what I wanted by the time she came over to take my order. A friendly and polite woman came over and made an apology for taking time to come to my table. It was appreciated. I ordered the Bruschetta appetizer with a glass of Chianti and a main course of Spaghetti with meatballs (a classic). The wine was very tasty. It was tart, with a medium acidity, and medium in body just like it was meant to be. The bruschetta was served with half cut and thinly sliced tomatoes, which in my opinion is better than diced tomatoes. The flavor was delightfully tart and herbal with a high note right at the end that hit the back of the pallet. The balsamic vinaigrette that made this happen was strong, but it had a good flavor. It made me want to eat just the tomatoes off each piece of bread. Finally the Spaghetti and meat balls came. The noodles were not heavy or anything that you would buy in a grocery store labeled “spaghetti”. These were light and airy and unbroken which made the noodles very long. (I should have asked for or been given a spoon to wind the noodles onto the fork, but I made it work.) the sauce was flavorful and I could tell that it was homemade. It made me feel warm inside and brought back memories of when I used to have the time to make my own sauce. There was no harsh or heavy tomato taste and no bitterness. I could taste that it was made with care. The meatballs were cooked just right with no pink middle and cut easily with a fork. I kept using the meat to sop up the sauce and I almost couldn’t stop eating it! Finally I took home a piece of tiramisu. All in all my experience was wonderful and one day I will go back and try their chicken parmigiana! Price for all of this was about 45. Which I found pretty reasonable for this economy, but the food itself was worth it!

Three of us on a Friday evening. Lasagna and 4-cheese ravioli for two of us were excellent, as always. For the first time I had the butter squash ravioli: wow! I treasured each bite, taking time to savor the flavor. It could also be shared as an appetizer or as a savory dessert. you may gather that I was very impressed by it!

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and had a delightful experience. The service exceeded my expectations, starting from the warm greeting to the attentive care throughout the meal. The food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and offered generous portions. I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu cake, which was a highlight of the meal. One small suggestion for improvement would be to consider serving olive oil and balsamic vinegar with the bread instead of butter; I think that would enhance the dining experience even more. Overall, it was a wonderful visit!

This place is awesome! I'm visiting all the way from Long Beach. I'm thankful I came here! Service, food, ambiance were on point. We ordered the Beef Ravioli Con Quattro Formaggio, Caesar salad, and Italian platter with a glass of wine. It was very tasty and I didn't feel super bloated or anything after. I fersure dogged my plate! I had the pleasure to meet D and mark. They were super awesome and welcomed us even though we can later towards closing. They were really accommodating, helpful, and entertaining. I'm definitely going to come back and I recommend every tourist to try this place out

Great service. Clean. Food was delicious. We had pizza (great crust), tortellini carbonara (spectacular flavor). Kids had pizza and pasta and ate all of it. Caesar salad was crunchy and a good flavor Will definitely come back.

Service was very good. Meal with friends. The biscotti had wonderful flavor. My friend enjoyed the Italian platter, my husband had lasagna, and I had the Campania spaghetti which had a lovely flavor. Dessert was chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake.
